Management
Matthew Burg
President
Matthew began his career in equity research and healthcare investment banking at BMO Capital Markets, and first served DB Surgical as Controller and Business Development Associate from 2009 to 2012. He rejoined the company in 2015, was named Vice President in 2018, and has led DB Surgical as President since 2025. He holds an education from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Kevin served six and a half years as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy before moving into medical devices. He joined DB Surgical in 2008 as a Senior Territory Sales Manager, returned as Sales Director after time with Leica Microsystems, and was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Service in 2025, with around eighteen years in the industry.
Yosef is an experienced valuation analyst with a history of working in the hospital and healthcare industry, skilled in GAAP, market research, and analytics. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University's College of Business and oversees finance and operations across the company.
Greg directs sales and service activity across the DB Surgical footprint. A graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, he brings deep preparation, a strong work ethic, and experience managing a large group of contributors in the field.
Debbie founded DB Surgical in 1997 with a simple focus: introducing tools that enable surgeons to advance patient outcomes beyond those available today. A University of Miami graduate, she built the company into the Southeast's trusted partner for microsurgical and minimally-invasive technology, and today serves in an advisory role.
Brian represents the full DB Surgical line across Alabama, from Leica surgical microscopes to BOSS instruments, Sunoptic headlights, and NSK surgical drills. Educated at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
A former infantry team leader in the United States Army, Ross moved into medical devices at Stryker Navigation before joining DB Surgical in 2015. His eleven-plus years in the Orlando territory are the longest unbroken run of any territory manager on the team.
Chad has spent twelve years as Senior Technical Service Manager at DB Surgical, keeping operating room equipment across Florida running at spec. Educated at Keiser University and based in Orlando.
Gladman brings extensive biomedical training to the service side of the business, specializing in medical equipment design, maintenance, and management. Educated at the University of Connecticut.
Jordan covers the Jacksonville territory for the sales and service team.
Christian Stephan
Territory Manager, Fort Lauderdale
A top-producing surgical sales professional who has stood in hundreds of surgical cases, Christian is as comfortable at the scrub sink as in front of the C-suite. He holds a business degree from the University of Central Florida and a Medical Sales College certification in spinal implants and biologics.
An engineer by training, Brett studied at Georgia Tech and completed engineering co-ops at Zimmer Biomet before joining DB Surgical straight out of university in 2020. He was promoted to Territory Manager in 2022.
Collin works closely with neuro, spine, ENT, plastic, and ophthalmic surgeons across South Florida, continuously expanding business within hospitals and surgery centers, and is extremely comfortable in the operating room.
Doug is an experienced medical device sales professional and four-time President's Club Award winner, skilled in sales management and marketing strategy. Educated at North Carolina State University.
Marshall arrived from KLS Martin Group, where he spent nearly three years as a Senior Sales Associate in surgical instrumentation. A University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate, he has worked in Charlotte throughout his career.
Chris started in the technical field in 2001 and built his expertise at Med X Change in OR visualization, digital documentation, hardware diagnostics, and international service and training.
Jacob joined DB Surgical as a Sales and Service Associate in 2024 and was promoted to Territory Manager in 2026, taking the eastern half of North and South Carolina. Educated at the University of Mississippi.
